ROSSITER SESSION
Available by appointment only.
As much as I love every modality of massage, I have some very specific challenges that need a supplemental technique. I am so happy to have found the Rossiter System, as it has helped release tension and pain in my body from the intense work that I do as a bodyworker and also in everyday life.
With one session, I was astounded with the results of how much more my body was free to move and also free of discomfort.
I was so inspired by how much it helped me that I went and became a Rossiter practitioner and am now very excited to help you become pain-free and flexible! We will work together as you are the PIC (Person In Charge) and I am your Coach.
The Rossiter System is beneficial for people of all ages / levels of fitness and is considered more of a workout than a massage. Results are dependent on how much you put into the workout. Instead of a passive stretch or isolated tissue work, the Rossiter System stretches large volumes of connective tissue very quickly, effectively…and very powerfully. And we do it together. More than 100 techniques target the neck, shoulders, elbows, arms, wrists, hands, low back, hips, knees, hamstrings, legs, ankles, feet and toes.
The Rossiter System helps with most any pain or mobility issue throughout the body- from most any cause:
Headaches- including migraines and stress headaches,
neck pain,
shoulder pain- including frozen shoulders,
arm pain,
elbow pain,
carpal tunnel syndrome,
hand/finger pain,
back pain (anywhere in the back),
whiplash,
hip pain,
most any forms of tendonitis in any location,
sciatica,
bursitis,
knee pain,
shin splints,
calf pain,
tight hamstrings,
ankle, toe, or foot pain- including plantar fasciitis.
Remember: immobility left unaddressed will eventually lead to pain.
Having loosened connective tissue is key for daily, pain-free functioning- and it's even more important for athletes and those that exercise. This workout will benefit you and your activity in ways you didn't think was possible!
Requirement: you must be able to get up and down from the floor unassisted.
Other contraindications include cortisone shots in the area, broken bones, recent surgery and some conditions such as cancer.
There are two categories of Rossiter Workouts.
The "Hot Shot" focuses on just one area of the body and involves 3 - 4 stretching techniques, usually taking up to 25 minutes. Examples may be a sore elbow, knee or plantar fasciitis. The cost of a Hot Shot is $35.00.
A "Mega Mover" involves a couple of problem areas on the body, such as lower back and hip pain, or elbow and shoulder pain, and involves 6 - 8 stretches taking up to 45 minutes. The cost of a complete workout is $85.00.
